Cold Air Essential Oil Diffuser

SIMPLERS AROMATHERAPY DIFFUSER

Buy this aromatherapy diffuser from Simplers Botanical.

Room Model

Simplers offers a hand blown glass nebulizer and powerful pump combination for cold air diffusion of essential oils. Use this aromatherapy diffuser in the home or office to disperse essential oils in a 500 square foot area. This model is appropriate to quickly diffuse essential oils for aromatherapy applications. The pump is very powerful and can diffuse essential oil throughout most average rooms in just a few minutes so you will not need to leave the pump running for long periods of time. Depending on room size, 10 minutes should be enough to fill the room with aroma. Just turn it on for a few minutes each hour or whenever you feel the need for a refreshing change of aroma.

WHY USE A COLD AIR AROMATHERAPY DIFFUSER?

Using heat to diffuse essential oils will destroy essential oils, rendering them therapeutically ineffective. Cold air diffusers gently break up essential oils into tiny molecules through the micro diffusion glass nebulizer thus retaining the integrity of the oils. This process creates a fine mist vapor that floats in the air and can be absorbed gently into the body through the respiratory system.

To use the aromatherapy diffuser add 10 or more drops of essential oil to the glass nebulizer. You can add single essential oils or make a blend right in the nebulizer depending on your application. Turn on the diffuser and allow the room fill with the essential oil aroma. After a few minutes, you can turn off your aromatherapy diffuser to conserve essential oil use. Remember essential oils are precious plant resources. Here are a few aromatherapy suggestions.

Cleaning the Nebulizer

Cleaning the nebulizer is easy. Cleaning is recommended regularly every few weeks, or if after several fillings, the oil starts to thicken (due to oxidation). Cleaning is also recommended when changing from one oil to another.

The injector (curved capillary) can clog if traces of essential oil are allowed to sit in the glass nebulizer for long periods of time. If you are not using the diffuser, it is best to remove any essential oil and rinse with some alcohol. Use of thick, resinous or waxy oils, or of massage or carrier oils will also clog the glass. We recommend denatured or isopropyl alcohol to eliminate any potential buildup in the curved capillary (some people use vodka).

  1. Add about 15ml (1/2 ounce) of alcohol to the nebulizer.
  2. Diffuse the alcohol in the nebulizer a few minutes.
  3. Empty any remaining alcohol from nebulizer.
  4. Run nebulizer empty for a few minutes to dry.
  5. Soak overnight in alcohol if clogging persists.

Note: Do not use viscous oils such as Patchouli, Vetiver or any fatty oils like Almond or Jojoba (common adulterates in cheap essential oils) as they will clog the tiny parts of the nebulizer. Not recommended for Asthma treatments.

Should you break the glass nebulizer, we do sell replacements. The replacement glass nebulizer comes with a new tube and cork.
